Landmark is a kind of MMORPG that introduces concepts specific to other genres to give rise to a totally unique playable experience. This sequel to EverQuest invites you to design and build all kinds of structures by acquiring the land you need.
Buying plots is a big expense, but with the crafting tasks you will be rewarded for your efforts in shaping all kinds of constructions: mills, towers, fortresses, castles, and so on. If you manage to design a good set it is likely that it will be included in EverQuest Next, although achieving it involves spending many hours in front of the screen collecting objects.
To get hold of certain items you'll be forced to explore inhospitable places. You will also need to collaborate with the other Landmark players, who may betray you by taking advantage of the trust you have placed in them. So it's essential to make sure that the partner you go into a hidden scenario with is reliable, otherwise you'll probably end up plucked and with no object to crafted. Conflicts will also arise when you own the plots, since they are limited and all gamers want to take them.
